Our FLEXTOP® Locknut is the premier all-metal locknut best used in demanding high vibration applications. This proven design is the ultimate all-metal locknut with the highest resistance to loosening of any reusable one piece nut. It works by allowing the crimped slotted top section to expand and grip the bolt as it passes through this area. Suitable for 800 degrees Fahrenheit, the FLEXTOP® Locknuts meet the locking torque requirements of MIL-N-25027 which includes 15 unseated installation and removal cycles. Available from stock in four styles including full heightlight hex, full heightheavy hex, thin heightlight hex and thin heightheavy hex. Available in both carbon and stainless steel.
