This flooring is used for a manure spreader Gemini Plastics, Inc. custom CNC machined these HDPE floor panels for a customer in the agricultural equipment industry for use in manure spreaders. CNC machined from black HDPE, chosen for its impact and wear resistance, the customer specifications required that the 197" long x 35.05" wide by 0.63" thick flooring panels be fabricated to within ±.010" tolerances - a challenge when using HDPE because of its relatively high rate of thermal expansion.
