The Flygt split case pump WS, HSC pump is available for flows of up to 14,000l/s (222,000 gpm) and can be installed horizontally or vertically. The standard versions of this pump are made of cast iron with rotation elements in either bronze or stainless steel. Different materials are available on request, which makes this pump the best choice for very large municipal or industrial water supply applications.
Every pumps is customized to the specific requirements of each application. The heavy-duty casing withstands extreme pressure and its rugged design resists external forces and vibrations. Both suction and discharge connections are in the lower half casing. The ability to remove the upper half casing permits easy inspection, maintenance, and removal of the complete rotating element without disturbing the piping or driver. Double suction impeller minimizes axial thrust and guarantees highly efficient, smooth, and vibration-free operation. Renewable wearing rings permit easy maintenance of proper running clearances.
