 Formic Acid is a colorless, fuming liquid, with a penetrating odor. It
 is a strong reducing agent and is soluble in water, alcohol, and
 ether. It is combustible.

 Formic Acid is used in dyeing and finishing of textiles, leather
 treatment, manufacture of fumigants, insecticides, refrigerants,
 solvents for perfumes, lacquers, electroplating, antiseptic in
 brewing, natural latex coagulant, ore flotation, and vinyl resin
 plasticizers.
