SPECIFICATIONS
1. Francis Turbine. designed to develop 1HP at 1200 RPM with a flow of 700 LPM at 20 meters supply head, complete with rope brake arrangement and pressure Gauges for conducting experiments.
2. Piping system consisting of pipes, valves and fittings complete set suitable for the Francis Turbine Test Rig.
3. Supply pump set 5 HP ‘Kirloskar’ make suitable for supplying water to the above turbine..
4. 3 phase starter suitable for the above motor pump set.
5. Flow measuring unit consisting of Veturi meter and mercury manometer.
6. Rope brake dynamometer with spring balances.
7. Mild steel sump to store sufficient water for experimentation and arranged within the floor space of the main unit and to operate without any concrete foundation.
