We are manufacturing Free Cutting Brass Bars, Rods & Sections as per IS:319-2007. We are casting Free Cutting Brass Rods & Bars Up to a Length of 375mm & Upto a Diameter of 180mm. Free Cutting Brass can easily be machined with a minimum of tool wear & breakage. This multi-purpose alloy is readily soldered & brazed. It is a commonly used alloy for screw machine stock in applications requiring drilling, turning, milling, tread rolling & tapping because of its 100 Percent Machinability Rating. The Lead Content Provides machinabilitty while preventing welding. This alloy is excellent for high speed machining, has good corrosion resistance, has smooth finish & readily accepts plating. Free Cutting Brass cannot be heat treated and its typical applications include plumbing fitting, hydraulic base fitting, adapters & valve adapters. The two grades of this alloy as per specification are tabulated below: -
