INTRODUCTION

CBR005 Friction Modifier is a deep brown colored liquid composed of an oil-soluble organic molybdenum dialkyl dithiophosphate complex. Friction Modifier is widely used as a lubricant additive in greases and oils, including engine and industrial oils. CBR005 FM provides excellent antioxidation and friction-reducing properties, even under extreme pressure and high temperatures. CBR005 FM has excellent anti-wear properties and low phosphorus content. The recommended dosing level is 0.2 – 1.0 % for lubricant oils and 1.0 – 3.0 % for greases. Note that this oil is not recommended for paraffin-based oils. CBA Friction modifier enhances friction capability of oil.It reduces friction between metal parts.It forms film on parts.It is effective on both ferrous and nonferrous metals.
