Tests can be performed with plastic sliding over itself or against other surfaces such as stainless steel. Optional alternative fixed sled speeds of up to 20 inches per minute are available. Our Friction Tester features a digital force gauge with 0. 1 grams force resolution, and 250 grams full scale as standard. Optional digital force gauges are available for up to 25 kilograms full scale. The gauge can be configured to capture static (starting) friction, or kinetic (sliding) friction. The Friction Tester also has 0.0-2.0 VDC analogue output and rs232 communications, for connection to a chart recorder or a computer. Features
