FROZEN PINE APPLE

Pineapple, a delicious fruit, not only known for its unique taste, but also for the depot of health benefits as it is rich in nutrients such as vitamins (B and C), minerals (manganese), fibre and bromelain (breaks down complex protein).

Swadhika foods exports frozen IQF pineapple in the form of Dices/Chunks and it is produced through the following process under hygienic condition. Fresh pineapples of the queen variety are used to make frozen pineapple Dices/Chunks. The fruits are ripened, sorted, washed, de cored, and peeled .Then it is hand cut in the form of chunks or dices using dicer. The chunks or dices are cleansed, dewatered and transferred to the IQF. The IQF chunks or dices are put through a sieve, inspected and packed. The packed cartons are passed through metal detectors and stored at -18°C.
