Wilco Industrial Switchgear is precisely engineered and carefully manufactured to satisfy customer needs and provide versatile solutions to meet any requirements. Wilco E Series and Fused Switchgear metal products satisfy these challenges and more with the use of maximum strength die-cast aluminium and cast iron. Where protection from rain is required or power supplies are run from below, a 'reverse entry busbar box' is also available to attach to the Fuse Switchgear products.The Wilco Metal Range versatility extends to Switches, Socket Outlets, Appliance Inlets (reverse), Plugs, Appliance Connectors (reverse), and accessories. A fused Switchgear range also is available in Fused Switches, Combination Fuse Switches with Socket Outlet, Combination Fuse Switch with Appliance Inlet (reverse). There is a choice of Grey Epoxy Enamel or Orange Corrosion Resistant finishes, with matching accessories. The key feature of the Fuse Switchgear range is the material, which is 3mm sheet steel casing with cast aluminium cover to provide maximum strength and light weight. Other features include Quick make-break contacts ensuring long life and reliable operation. Corrosion resistant options make the range ideal for salt air environments. Although HRC fuses are not supplied with the Fuse Switchgear, the design has the flexibility to accept all popular HRC Fuse Cartidges with bolted tag facilities to BS88. HRC Fuse replacement is simplified as the switch breaks the circuit at both ends of the fuse cartridge, ensuring isolation and safety is achieved. In addition to this, operation of the switch is made easy via the easy to grip stirrup type handle along with switch interlocking facilities to ensure the cover cannot be removed when the switch is in the ON position. Safety continues with the padlock facility so that switches can be locked in both ON or OFF positions. Plugs and Reverse Connectors are also available in Screw Lock Ring andor Hydrant Lock Ring options.
