Garden Sculptures

Sculpture can often be seen in open areas, in civic squares and in gardens. They sometimes compliment the garden or otherwise act as a focal point. They often give a theme to the garden. It's always a pleasure to find an unexpected sculpture tucked in a small niche or a large sculpture forming the central piece. 
Art in the garden can be formal or completely whimsical. They form an important part of the garden landscape. Animal Figures and statues like elephants, horses and smaller ones like birds and reptiles, classical statues of Egyptian style, classic Christian, and other religious idols may also be used. Abstract sculptures are also used. They may be stone or metal sculptures, resin or wood. 
Certain sculptures are specifically for the garden landscapes. They are selected on the basis of the size of the foliage and general garden decor. The theme is selected on the based on the location of water bodies, rocks, trees and open areas.
