Established in 1984, the India-based Devi Exports Corporation, a subsidiary of the Rs. 350 million-Devi Group, has proved to be the country's fastest growing manufacturer. As an exporter of fabrics, garments and home textiles, Devi commands a premium position in the world markets spanning Japan, Europe, and the US.
We have a centralized, modern production hub in Chennai set on Japanese quality standards and a long-standing exclusive network of affiliated manufacturing units across India's renowned handloom and power loom clusters. Our unique, flexible and cost-effective manufacturing tie-ups enable us to scale up our supply quite rapidly, to meet your diversified needs without compromising on quality.
On fabrics and home textiles, we have an in-house monthly production capacity of 200,000 mtrs., of which 30% is handloom and 70% cottage power loom. On garments, our capacity for supply scales from 30,000 up to 50,000 pieces a month.
Managed by a qualified and an experienced team, we directly and indirectly contribute to the employment of about 15,000 weavers of over 218 affiliated handloom and cottage power loom factories.
We invest over 5% of our turnover in applied research and development to bring out innovative designs for the global fashion destinations for all seasons.
