It also reduces the risk of blindness in a serious eye infection caused by CMV, known as CMV retinitis.
Gavir 500mg Injection is administered as an injection by a healthcare professional. Kindly do not self-administer. It is given by slow intravenous (IV) infusion over a 1-hour period to avoid damage to the kidneys. You should drink plenty of water while on treatment with this medicine as it helps to prevent dehydration and kidney damage.
