UGI has the expertise in manufacturing high quality PINION GEAR BOXES specially suitable for Hot Steel Rolling Mills. Input shaft is of right quality Forged Alloy Steel (EN-24) ultrasonically tested. Bearing Journal properly ground . Gear Wheel is also made out of forged alloy steel (EN-19) ultrasonically tested . Gear Teeth generated on Hobbing machines . Housing is fabricated dully stress relieved and properly machined with boring operation done on Horizontal Boring machines. We use SKF/FAG/NTN make bearings . Transparent window provided on top to observe oil splashing for Teeth Lubrication of Gears. Air breather is also provided for purpose equalisation. Oil seals of very good quality are also provided at input & output ends of shafts to prevent leakages of oil, which is a normal phenomenon in gear boxes. For these reason UGI made Pinion stand have very good in India & abroad.
