Gear Tooth Pickup Sensor

Don’t be fooled by the small size, this is a real proximity pick-up that works with most any gear, or even a bolt on a shaft. Output is one pulse per passing gear tooth. Installation adjustment is simplified with the internal LED that is on when object is in range does not have to be moving. If the gear is rotating and the unit is installed correctly, the LED will blink with each passing gear tooth. This unit will sense down to zero speed and does not have a low speed cutoff. Cable can be extended and can be supplied with a connector and an over molded cable.

• Pick-up range up to 0.15” Power with 6 to 30 VDC Mounts in a 1/2 clearance hole. LED Shows when functional.
• Output is normally on NPN transistor. Open collector can sink up to 300 mA. Output signal amplitude equals voltage applied.
