Genticyn 80mg injection is used in the treatment of bacterial infections.

COMPOSITION FOR GENTICYN 80MG INJECTION : Gentamicin(80mg)

FOOD INTERACTION FOR GENTICYN INJECTION : It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take Genticyn 80mg injection at a fixed time.

How genticyn injection works : Genticyn 80mg injection is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

• Facial swelling,
• Allergic reaction,
• Lip swelling,
• Skin rash,
• Joint pain,
• Blisters on skin,
• Diarrhoea,
• Shortness of breath,
• Headache,
• Hoarseness of voice,
• Loss of appetite,
• Itching,
• Urticaria,
• Fatigue,
• Fever

PREGNANCY INTERACTION FOR GENTICYN INJECTION : Genticyn 80mg injection is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.

LACTATION INTERACTION FOR GENTICYN INJECTION : Unknown. Human and animal studies are not available. Please consult your doctor.
