GMP GC - 1052 Tar Viscometer Apparatus

This standard covers the methods for determination of viscosity of road tar and cutback bitumen The apparatus consist of a copper bath placed on a stand with 3 leg fitted with leveling feet, a side heating tube with baffle & a drain cock. The bath is fitted with a central tube to receive the test Silver plated cup (with 10mm jet)& to position the stirrer. A thermometer socket & a swivel support for the valve are provided. For electrically heated model the side tube is replaced by 500watt heater controlled by auto-tuned microprocessor Digital temperature controller with thermocouple sensor. A motorized stirrer (as agitator) & LED illumination is also provided.
