These insulating castables having low densities are light , adequately strong and of low conductivity, thus serving as hot face or backup insulating refractory lining used in reduced conditions. They are of low to medium strength making them not suitable to abrasion or particle attack. Tailored varieties are also supplied to customer’s requirements. These are substitutes for varieties of imported castables.
