Goods Lifts

Unlike passenger elevators, these lifts operate at considerably reduced speeds. Recommended speeds range from 5 to 25 meters per minute. Higher speeds increase the running costs. The control system in this type of lifts is microprocessor based control panel with or without VFD The lift-car is designed to withstand the heaviest load traffic.

Proudly we use two type of lifting machine:
One is by electric wire rope hoist of SWIFT make formally maked by greaves limited for lifts purpose. Hoists are available with LR drums in there hoists hook always remain at the center and two independent ropes carry the load which gives extra safety in the event of breaking of one rope. These hoists are available from 1.0T to 5.0T capacity. Lifting speed of these hoists is about 5m/min.
Second is by using Traction machines of ELECON or GREAVES make with counter weight arrangement. These are heavy duty passenger elevators with speed of approximate 15-25m/min up to 5.0T capacity.
Cabin : Goods lifts are made with GMP and non GMP standards. Material used in these cabins is SS304 or SS302, MS epoxy coated or painted as per customer requirement.

In all the lifts anti fall locking arrangement with over speed governor is used which does not allow the lift cabin to fall in any case.

This arrangement works with machine to electrical safety system. Full safety protection are taken even in all goods lifts.

Spring loaded guide shoes with Nylon coating are used as Guide shoes.
Properly machined Guide rails of suitable thickness generally 16mm thick with male and female joints is used to provide smooth movement of lift. We also make flame proof lifts. All the flame proof equipment we use is approved at Central Mining & Research station (CMRS), Dhanbad.
