Real Time Vehicle Tracking System, Feature : Easy To Use, Fast Working, Light Weight, Low Power Consumption

The real time vehicle tracking system with gps & gsm is an electronic device installed in a vehicle to allow the owner or a third party to track the location of the vehicle. Indian truckers offer this service to vehicle owners to track fleets or vehicles. This paper proposes to design a functional vehicle tracking system using GPS and GSM technology, which will be the cheapest source of vehicle tracking and will serve as an anti-theft system. This is an embedded system used to track and position any vehicle using the Global Positioning System (GPS) and the Global system for mobile communications (GSM). This design will continue to monitor moving Vehicles and report Vehicle status upon request. The GPS modem will continue to provide data i.e. latitude and longitude showing the position of the vehicle. The same data is sent to the mobile phone at the other end from which the vehicle position is requested. When a user request is sent to a number on the GSM modem, the system will automatically send a reply to the mobile phone indicating the position of the vehicle in terms of latitude and longitude in real-time.
