ORISON hopper bottom silos are produced in a range from 5 tonnes up to 1.000 tonnes.
Hopper silos lower part has 45° and 60° degree angle and this allows the grain to flow easily with its fluidity. However, 45-degree conical bottoms are used for grains, and 60-degree conical bottoms are used for feed, wet material and low fluidity materials.
Generally, it is preferred for continuous discharge status. During unloading, out-of-energy use and lower operating costs are the main reasons to prefer these types of silos. Moreover, this type has a special preference for grains that have a low angle of repose.
