Blast furnace slag is a by-product of the steel industry. This cementitious material provides specific characteristics to ready-mix concrete; among other properties, it improves workability, increases resistance to aggressive chemicals, and lowers heat of hydration.Â
GGBS is used to make durable concrete structures in combination with ordinary portland cement and/or other pozzolanic materials. GGBS usage is growing rapidly for its superiority in concrete durability, extending the lifespan of buildings.
We are an authorised dealer of Binani GGBS in Dubai. The UAE origin product meets the British Standard EN-15167:2006 specification.
