This slag cement has been the most popular with concrete projects and can be used effectively to make concrete more strong. This cement gives better concrete, great finish, flexural strength, lower permeability, improved resistance plastic and hardened properties and lighter color to the structure.

Used/Application:

GGBS is used to make durable concrete structures in combination with ordinary portland cement and/or other pozzolanic materials. GGBS significantly reduces the risk of damages caused by alkali–silica reaction (ASR), provides higher resistance to chloride ingress — reducing the risk of reinforcement corrosion — and provides higher resistance to attacks by sulfate and other chemicals.
