Grapefruit Oil

Grapefruit oil is obtained by cold pressing compression or CO2 extraction from the fresh of partly dried peel of grape fruit (Citrus paradisi). Cold pressing of the peel gives the yields of 0.5 - 1 %.
USES
Grapefruit Essential oil is less known for its qualities but this oil has immense quality and highly potential therapeutic qualities. It is mainly used in aromatherapy, massage, Pharmaceuticals, confectionery and food as flavor, Cosmetics, toiletries etc.
It is traditionally known for its property for losing weight. PROPERTIES:
Grapefruit essential oil is thin watery oil which carries sweet, tangy, refreshing and citric aroma. It can be watery white pale yellow or reddish yellow in color. 
Main constituents of this oil are Alpha-Pinene, Sabinene, Myrcene, D- Limonene, Linalool, Citronellal, and terpinen-4-ol.
