    Applications :

    • Our graphite has many advantages which are widely used as electrical discharge machining (EDM) electrodes for fabricating molds for die-casting, plastics and more. Graphite has the versatility to machine very large to small precision sizes used in the medical field.
    • Compared to copper electrode, graphite electrodes offer excellent cutting performance and produce fewer burrs and similar issues, thereby enabling speed improvements in both cutting and EDM processes.

    • Easy to machine
    • High resistant to thermal shock
    • Low coefficient of thermal expansion (3 times lower than copper) are able to ensure the stability of electrode geometry during process.
    • Availability in large blocks.
    • Not melt, but goes directly from the solid state to the gaseous at 3,400oC, which reduces wear.
    • Density is 5 times lower than that of copper, which results in lighter electrodes.
    • Higher metal removal rate than copper with less wear.
    • Unique characteristic that the wear ratio tends to decrease as the peak current increases.
