Based on high quality graphite, the Graphite Water Based Coatings impart excellent thixotropic properties resulting in superior suspension characteristics and grants excellent performance at high temperatures. Clean and smooth surface finish of casting is obtained by the use of Graphite Water Based Coatings.

Application : Product is used for all Grey Cast Iron and can be applied on Cores and Moulds of Cold-Box, Hot-Box and shell resin process. Suitable for Dipping as supplied. Drying the coating has to be conducted in an oven at 150-180 degree for 1 hour, when a homogenous and dense coating film is formed.
Advantages : Less preparation time and fast deposit of the coating on the cores. As the product is supplied in ready for use form, thorough mixing of all the ingredients takes place at the time of manufacture. Product gives a complete and uniform coverage, which ensures a good casting finish, free from veining, fining, fusion and penetration and hence lowers the casting cleaning costs.
Storage and Handling : The product should be stored at a room temperature under roof and away from direct sunlight and moisture. Use of safety gears and gadgets is a must while handling the above product. Shelf life: 4 months from the date of manufacture. Standard Packing 25 kg in poly carboys.
Directions for Use : Korekote 13 GWB should be mixed with a pneumatic or an electric mixed. Material should be mixed thoroughly in its container before diluting with water. Ideally hardness should be below 90 ppm. Korekote 13 GWB must be torch or oven dried prior do casting.
