DEFINITION
The Soursop(graviola) tree can grow from 6 metres to 8 meters tall with compact foliage and has bright oblong to oval shaped leaves. Ideally it grows at altitudes of about 1000m and it is very resistant to cold and wind. The fruit is similar to the Cherimoya and measures between 14 and 30 cm long and 12 to 15 cm wide. The fruit is dark green on the outside with white and juicy pulp inside.

BENEFITS
The leaves of the Soursop have anti-tumour properties, and are especially helpful to fight against certain cancers (Prostate). It is also used as an antispasmodic, sedative, treating asthma, hypertension, diabetes, liver disorders, and diarrhoea and against some parasites (lice).
