Red Lady” papaya (Carica papaya) is a high yielding Mexican variety which is very delicious in taste and beneficial for health. It is usually football in shape, that can produce 50 to 120 fruits per plant with an average of 80-100 kilograms, each fruit measuring up to 15 inches long and weighing as much as 2 kilo’s. It takes only 5 months to give fruits and 8-9 months to pluck the fruit from the plant.
