The AS-3449VSQ-1 Antenna is designed for use with the Position Location Reporting System (PLRS) Vehicle Radio Set ANVSQ-1. The antenna is produced to meet all the requirements of the U.S. Army CECOM Specification A3005036. This includes a Mean Time Between Failure of more than 100,000 hours, capability of operation in 55 knot winds with gusts up to 85 knots, and capability of operation with 4.5 pounds of per square inch of ice coating on the antenna.
