GRP SKIMMER TANK

Fiberglass vertical skimmer are designed by Leadergrate for Aquaculture application . The skimmer is designed in such a way the air bubbles begin to rise up through the water in the reaction chamber of the skimmer where the contact the water flowing down through the skimmer . During the contact time , the proteins and other dissolved organics are attracted to the air bubbles due to the molecules specific hydrophilic/hydrophobic nature . The attached molecules are then carried to the neck of the skimmer attached to the air bubbles . The cleaned water exists at the bottom of the tank and is pumped out. The proteins are slowly concentrated at the top of the skimmer where they are slowly pushed through the neck of the skimmer and into the collection cup .
