BT Composites has introduced GRP (SMC) Pallets with various lay-outs and sizes for handling raw materials, intermediates and finished goods in various industries such as pharma, chemical, consumer products, food, etc. The pallets are developed with various combinations/ design/ lay-outs in various sizes.
GRP (SMC) Pallets offers following advantages over pallets made using conventional materials such as wood, thermoplastics, steel, paper, etc.
• Corrosion and chemical resistance
• Weather resistance
• Fire retardant - possible
• Termite & borer proof
• Hygienic – washable
• Higher load carrying capacity
• Higher heat distortion temperature – more than 180 deg C
• UV Stabilised - possible
• No Creep (Creep is loss of strength over period of time under constant load)
• Light weight
• Possibility of replacing damaged part/ portion.
