Marine gypsum is a by-product of salt and it is used in cement manufacturing industries, Plaster of Paris (POP) industries, Construction Industries and Fertilizer Industries.  Marine Gypsum is an evaporate that are reaped once or twice a year from the salt reservoir during monsoon season. While Salt tends to form at 24 degree (Baume) of salt density, Marine Gypsum tends to form at much lesser salt density (i.e. – around 15 degree Baume). At SSv salt,  we produce around 1500 metric tons of industrial raw gypsum every year.
