It is glued together with special-made face-protecting paper, and it is mainly used for partition and ceiling due to its advantages of lightness, soundproofing, warm-keeping and ready processing. Regular gypsum board is ideal for ceiling and single layer partition in residential and commercial building. Gypsum board is the generic name for a family of panel-type products consisting of a non combustible core, primarily of gypsum, with 100 percent recycled paper surfacing on the face, back and long edges. It is a building material of new type, whose main raw material is gypsum. Besides, it can be fast constructed with less labor as well as better effect and widely used in all types of decoration. Gypsum board is often called drywall, wallboard, or plasterboard and differs from products such as plywood, hardboard, and fiberboard, because of its non combustible core.
