H&B Low Entry Thermometers

Description

H&B Sensors manufacture Vertical Bimetallic Thermometers to exact customer requirements; they are simple to install, and due to their robust stainless steel finish are suitable for a wide range of applications and environments.

Vertical Bimetallic Thermometers are available with either a 100mm Ø, 125mm Ø or 150mm Ø dial. As standard the dial casing is manufactured from 316 stainless steel with a standard instrument glass window and is rated to IP66.

Three stem diameters are available including 6mm Ø, 8mm Ø and 12.7mm Ø. The maximum stem lengths vary depending upon stem diameter: 6mm Ø = 500mm, 8mm Ø = 1000mm and 12.7mm = 1000mm.

Options include a compression fitting, silicone filling for use within high vibration environments (maximum temperature +100°C) and non standard temperature ranges.

In addition an optional thermowell can be specified which provides isolation between the Bimetallic Thermometer stem and the process being measured whilst also allowing for easy removal of the sensor without the need for interruption to the supply.
