Hand Stitched Kantha Stitch Saree, Weight : 600 Gms

Kantha stitch is a traditional form of making thread work on fabrics in Bengal. This is a beautiful bottle green Bangalore silk saree. This saree is purely designed with traditional kantha stitch in white, creating a mesmerising combination. The design of the borders is in 4 horizontal segments. It has kalkas, checkered and alpona design in tapestry pattern. The same is in the pallu in repeated manner. The motifs in the body are typical alpona designs. Another is a similar peacock blue saree with floral motifs and alpona designs. The flowers are hand stitched with filling stitches and the alponars are done in run stitch. The pallu has a dense floral work. The other saree is a maroon one with multi colour thread work. The borders and pallu have dense floral deisgn and the motifs in the body are like the bottle green saree. All these sarees have blouse piece.
