Removing the sheathing for Quick Connect products can sometimes be tricky with standard pliers, but with Clipsal's Quick Connect pliers it's a breeze.
These have a specifically designed blade that cuts through the sheathing but leaves the conductor's insulation intact. For end connections just slide the sheathing off completely. For mid connections the Quick Connect pliers can be used to cut through the outer sheathing at the appropriate spacing and simply peeled away.
