design. These highly prized striped blankets were valued not
only for their beauty and durabilitiy but the name itself implies
a higher value. Having blankets with more colors and stripes
added to the cost. These blankets were highly prized. These
are some of the more beautiful blankets that are available.
Fragments of a similarly designed blankets was found at
Massacre Cave, Arizona (circa 1804). This was the start of
the English making many different color striped blankets. It is
made with Blue and Natural Dark stripes. It comes in White.
Blue, Red, or Brown. A beautiful prized camp blanket. The
White one was known as the Fort Union Blanket traded with
