industries with very difficult operating environments.

• Every SIMS UV-A 1000 is equipped with a Black Light Filter to reduce output of wavelengths longer than

400 nm

• The SIMS UV-A 1000 uses ultraviolet light emitting diode (LED) producing UV-A light which peaks at 365 nm

making it suitable for Fluorescent Penetrant and Magnetic Particle Inspection applications.

• Unlike mercury bulbs, full power of the lamp can be reached instantly.

• The on/off switch is positioned on the front side of the pistol grip to prevent accidental activation.

• The SIMS UV-A 1000 runs on a 100-240 VAC power adapter for use from an electrical outlet or it can also
