Heat Of Compression Air Dryer

Air contains contaminants like solid (dust particles), liquid (moisture) and oil which contaminates the compressed air. When this contaminated compressed air is used for various applications, it may cause failures of pneumatic valves, instruments, etc which results in the downtime of whole system.

Summits Heat of Compression Air Dryers (HOC Air Dryer) remove the moisture to a level of 80 ppm(w) by using Heated regeneration technology. The hot air directly from the compressor discharge (140^oC to 220^oC) enters into one desiccant tower, regenerates the saturated desiccant, enters into an heat exchanger and gets dried by the high performance desiccant adsorbent while passing through the other desiccant tower. The dry air passes through a post filter to the utility. A reliable programmable logic controller controls the valve operations effectively therby ensures continuous dry air output to the utility.
