It is a multi-layer block and very light in weight (floats in water) and needs no maintenance. It is very affordable as compared to other heat treatment and water proofing options like Lime Terracing, Mud-phuska, Brickbat coba, Earthen pot treatment etc.
It is a version of fly ash concrete that is produced by initially making slurry of cement, fly ash, sand, water, chemicals and other ingredients with special mixing techniques which results in heat resistant concrete which is an excellent heat insulator.
