Our premium grade fiberglass tapes are impregnated with PTFE and coated with silicone or acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive. Silicone adhesives are used for high temperatures (between 350-500F) or when a clean removal is desired. Acrylic adhesives are used when higher adhesion levels are required or if the silicone adhesive fails prematurely in areas subjected to high moisture and frequent wash downs. The fiberglass backing provides dimensional stability, while the extra-heavy coat of PTFE provides a quick release surface. This tape is 21CFR1777.1550 compliant.
