The flexibility and expandability of the fiberglass sleeving allows for use over irregular shapes, making 210c heat treated fiberglass sleeving particularly effective as coil insulation on rotating equipment. Heat treated fiberglass sleeving is also used in wire harness assemblies as well as for thermal protection of insulated wires against damage from external heat sources. The high degree of saturability makes fiberglass sleeving an ideal choice for sleeving applications where varnishing or vacuum pressure impregnation is used.
