Stark Gears” NEW series of Helical Geared Motors and Gear Units take advantage of our many years of accumulated expertise and experience in designing and manufacturing of transmission products. The end result is a series of speed reducing sizes offering high load carrying capacities, high efficiency, quiet running and reliability. These sizes are compact and available in two, three, four, five and six gear reduction stages.

Design of these gear units, made with gearing details following addendum modification based on the latest findings of gear design with the help of latest computer software programmers, has been finalized keeping the most favorable ratio distribution and the no. of teeth, module, helix angle, face with combination in order to achieve the optimum evenly distributed power rating in various stages.

• Single helical gears are made out of high grade case hardening alloy steel.
• Designed to transmit high torque and power. Gear geometry & rating details confirm to relevant ISO/DIN Standards.
• Profile ground with the latest technique for tip relief & face crowning, ensuring smooth and silent running under alltype of abnormal conditions.

• Made out of medium carbon steel, hardened & tempered.
• Tapped centre hole at shaft extension to facilitate retaining or removal of connection element.
• Plunge ground oil seal seating portion to prevent oil leakage.

• Anti-Friction bearings to ensure smooth operation and longer life and to withstand high overhung loads.
• Seals
• Radial lip type oil seals for effective sealing of lubricants.
• Double lip oil seals can be provided for dusty atmosphere, if specified.

• Shaft extension and other machine surfaces are coated with rust preventive compound.
• External surface, painted with synthetic enamel paint of hammer tone finish with Dark Grey Colour.
• Special paintings and protection methods, on request.

• The study gear casings are made of high grade Cast-iron (except the smallest size 02, which is made of Aluminum alloy die casting)
• Made in ‘Mono Bloc’ design without any split or location joints in order to ensure maximum rigidity, thus reduce noise & vibration.
• Created using latest 3D modeling technique to present and attractive aesthetic appearance.
• Provision is given at the top for viewing gear contacts of all stages, when required.
• Design to suit various mounting positions.

• Squirrel cage TEFC induction motors conforming to latest IEC/IS standards.
• Suitable for 3 Phase AC supply.
• Class F Insulation.
• IP 55 Production and use of lip type seal at driving end of shaft extension.
