Hemochroma PLUS Hand-held Device

hemochroma PLUS is a battery powered, hand-held device to measure the concentration of total hemoglobin in blood in 3 seconds from 15 µl of blood. Users may use finger-tip or venous blood without further preprocessing. hemochroma PLUS uses dedicated microcuvettes featuring dual ports to which a user applies samples either through capillary action or through direct volumetric pipetting.
Hemoglobin has a tendency to display different absorption behaviors, depending on oxygen binding. Based on these properties of hemoglobin, hemochroma PLUS determines hemoglobin concentration in whole blood samples by adopting a dual wavelength photo-absorption method.
Produces accurate & reliable test reults of total hemoglobin comparable to high-end analyzers.
