Our first test in motion detection was great, no false recordings even in low light levels. Recording only when movement happened and no false alarms. Recording all motion quickly without missing anything, even in the dark without night vision on. In complete darkness and night vision on with 10 infra-red lights can see across small room. Movement of subject could be seen up to 4 meters away and identification of the subject could be seen within 2 meters. Left recording for 8 hours with night vision on the battery was still good and recording as normal. Using 5V 2A USB mains charger takes 8-10 hours to charge, as expected. Fully charged battery left in standby for 5 days and then used by its remote worked perfectly. Using the video recorder and taking photo's for the whole day. The 160º wide angle lens is genuine and placed in corner or end of room covers everything.
