HiGG Certification

The Higg Index is an apparel and footwear industry self-assessment standard for assessing environmental and social sustainability throughout the supply chain. Launched in 2012, it was developed by the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, a non-profit organization founded by a group of fashion companies.   The Higg Index enables companies to identify brand, facility and in the future, product-related practices to optimize resources and reduce associated waste and cost. Identifying resource-hungry processes and evaluating product design choices can also lead to innovation opportunities
