High Voltage Capacitor

Developed for tachycardia device applications, QCAPS high voltage capacitors leverage Greatbatch Medical’s proprietary wet tantalum technology to achieve greater volumetric energy density than aluminum electrolytes, resulting in a smaller capacitor for a given energy requirement. Wet tantalum is also very efficient because it requires little or no reformation and has very low DC leakage—all of which contribute to longer device life or lower battery capacity requirements.
QCAPS high voltage capacitors are available in customized shapes and sizes to provide for 185 to 360 V per capacitor.
