This economical collar is suitable for sub-critical annular tolerances and is capable for a holding force upto 1000% of the centralizer starting force as per API-10D. It features specially designed collar hinges which wrap to the inside and hinge pins that do not work loose. This device can be latched on to the casing pipe without having to be slipped on at the end of the casing pipe, thus allowing easy installation. Available in the size range 2-7/8” to 30”, it has a single bolt locking mechanism, located at 180 degrees to the hinge, which is used to tighten the collar to the casing.
