HIV Test

Oscar HIV-1& HIV-2 test is intended used for qualitative detection of antibodies (IgG/IgM/IgA) to HIV-1 and HIV-2 in human serum / plasma as in aid of HIV diagnosis. It is based upon lateral flow immuno assay and double antigen system has been used in the test formulation to have better sensitivity and specificity. Recombinant proteins GP-41 & GP-120 for HIV-1 and GP-36 for HIV-2 have been used for coating on nitro cellulose membrane and colloidal gold conjugate.
