HMS 1&2 Scrap

We are a prominent HMS 1&2 Scrap Sourcing Agent in Pune (India). Heavy Melting Steel (HMS) or Heavy Melting Scrap is a designation for recyclable steel and wrought iron. It has two categories HMS 1 and HMS 2. HMS 1 does not contain galvanized and blackened steel, whereas HMS 2 does. Sizes Available

• ISRI 200 (HMS 1) : Wrought iron and/or steel scrap 1â��4 inch and larger in thickness. All piece smaller than 60x24 in
• ISRI 201 (HMS 1) : Same as ISRI 200 except pieces smaller than 36x18 in
• ISRI 202 (HMS 1) : Same as ISRI 200 except pieces smaller than 60x18 in
• ISRI 203 (HMS 2) : Wrought iron and/or steel scrap, black and galvanized, 1â��8 inch and larger in thickness
• ISRI 204 (HMS 2) : Same as ISRI 203 except pieces smaller than 36x18 in
• ISRI 205 (HMS 2) : Same as ISRI 204 except it may contain automotive scrap except for thin gauge material
• ISRI 206 (HMS 2) : Same as ISRI 205 except pieces smaller than 60x18 in

Technical Specifications Steel scraps shall be considered free of alloys when the residual alloying elements do not exceed the following Percentage Points

• Nickel : (0.45)
• Chromium : (0.20)
• Molybdenum : (0.10)
• Manganese : (1.65)

The combined residuals shall not exceed a total of (0.60) percent HMS 1&2 - ISRI 200-206(80%/20%) ISRI 200 � 206: steel scrap defined as HMS 1&2 IN A 80%/20% mix under ISRI codes 200 through 206. Non-metal impurities total 1% (1 percent) or less- no radiation, arms, ammunition, bombs, shells, mines, cartridges, sealed gas cylinders. High carbon steel is not included in this scrap. • $ xxx.00 per MT CIF (Cost, Insurance, Freight) â�� 30,000 MT per month one year contract
• If buyer puts up a SBLC for 2 months value the metric ton price will be less $10.00 per MT CIF.

Payment Terms

• Irrevocable, transferable [may or may be not], revolving Documentary Letter of Credit by top 25 bank. Plus a Standby Letter of Credit for the value of one (1) month shipment to be returned at end of contract period. [It may consider to not need later]. All the payment will be according to international import â�� export rules of HMS/Used Rails. LC will be cashed at the time of loading/dispatching the shipment at New Jersey Port.
• Pre â�� Inspection can be arranged at the time of loading at New Jersey Port USA.
• Performance Guarantee : 2% Performance Guarantee will be issued for the value of each shipment.

Shipping

• Shipments shall begin 30-45 days after receipt and confirmation of Letter of Credit.
• Yard visit after contract is signed and CMA has notice of letter of credit.
• Visit to pier at loading at buyerâ��s expense only! Sales terms are firm.
